It depends on the space and how you use it. A fixed screen is the most minimalist option and the easiest to clean; a sliding screen makes better use of narrow bathrooms since it needs no swing space; and a hinged door gives a wider sense of opening but needs free space in front of the shower. Both are safety tempered glass; the difference is in feel and rigidity. 8 mm feels sturdier and more premium, especially on large panels or big fixed screens, while 6 mm is enough for smaller compositions. We also work with 10 mm for projects that call for it.

The fewer profiles and joints a screen has, the less limescale builds up and the easier it is to clean — that's why models without a bottom profile, or walk-in styles, tend to need the least maintenance. All our glass also comes with an anti-limescale treatment as standard, which makes it harder for limescale to stick on any model.

It's a fixed glass panel, with no door or extra profiles, installed apart from the wall to leave an open walk-through gap. There's no single standard size: every screen is manufactured to the exact size of your shower tray or opening, which is why we take measurements at your home before manufacturing. What matters isn't matching a catalogue size, but making sure the glass covers the opening properly and overlaps enough to prevent water escaping.

Our team or a network installer measures the exact width and height of the opening, checks the walls are plumb, and detects any unevenness in the floor or tiling. Using this data, the screen is manufactured to fit the real conditions of your bathroom, not a catalogue size.

Yes, that's one of the design options we offer, both with a top profile and without one for a cleaner finish. We can also manufacture compositions without a bottom profile. Let us know your preference when requesting a quote.

This is usually due to insufficient overlap between panels, a worn seal or bottom profile, or the shower tray not being properly level with the glass. A screen measured correctly at installation greatly reduces this issue; if you already have a screen with this problem, we can check whether it's an adjustment or a parts-replacement issue.

Our glass comes with an anti-limescale treatment as standard, which makes it harder for limescale and soap residue to stick. Even so, to keep it spotless we recommend drying the glass with a cloth after each use, which is what most reduces limescale build-up over time.

A soft cloth, water and a non-abrasive cleaner are enough for everyday care; thanks to the anti-limescale treatment there's no need for harsh products. Drying the glass after each use is the single habit that most helps it stay clear for longer.

Manufacturing and installation typically take 2 to 4 weeks from the measurement visit, depending on the model chosen and current production workload.
